Sarens at Almaty TEC-3: turbines and generators of 200–230 t

Sarens completed a key phase for KBI Energy on the TEC3 (HPP3) coal-to-gas modernisation in Almaty (Heavy Lift News, 16 April 2026). Scope covered OOG and non-OOG transport, heavy lifting and engineering for turbines, generators and transformers — units up to 5.3 m high, 11 m long and 200–230 tonnes, lifts to 14 m at 10–11 m radius. Fleet included LR1600, LTM1500, AC500-2, AC80 plus KAMAG K25, Goldhofer and SPMT lines; craneless SPMT offloading addressed confined warehouse space. A concrete project-cargo case inside Almaty’s tight site layout.
