On 2 October 2026 at 17:00, KazAvtoZhol introduced a restriction for freight vehicles on the KAZ13 Zhezkazgan – Arkalyk – Petropavlovsk national road at km 875, near the Pokrovsky bridge in North Kazakhstan Region, due to ongoing bridge repairs.

Since 11 September 2026, a restriction for oversized and heavy vehicles has been in place on the Almaty – Bishkek road at km 25 near Kaskelen: vehicles higher than 4.5 m and wider than 8 m cannot pass. The reason is the installation of a monolithic span for a new interchange; the restriction will remain until the works are completed, expected around the end of 2026. Vehicles within the set dimensions pass without restrictions.

KazAvtoZhol advises oversized transport operators to adjust routes in advance and use alternative directions. For 45 t and 90 t lowbed trailer runs, these sections are taken into account at the routing and special permit stage.
