Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport has released interim results of intensified road freight checks: from 1 to 27 October 2026, inspectors recorded 643 administrative offences in road haulage, Kazinform reported on 27 October citing the ministry.

Checks took place in Abai, Ulytau, Aktobe, North Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions and in Astana. Recorded violations included exceeding permitted vehicle weight and dimension limits, breaches of cargo carriage rules, and driver working-time and rest rules.

Particular attention was paid to trucks exceeding axle and gross weight limits, which accelerate pavement wear and raise safety risks. The campaign follows instructions from First Deputy Prime Minister Nurlybek Nalibayev; the ministry said enhanced control will continue on a systemic basis.

For oversized moves on lowbeds this is a practical cue: verify the special permit, the agreed route and the actual mass and dimensions of the combination before departure. Gateway Logistics operates 45 t / 5-axle and 90 t / 10-axle lowbeds and 145 m³ road-trains on the China — Kazakhstan — Caspian — Azerbaijan — Georgia — Türkiye corridors with route surveys and permit handling.
