At GIMF in Batumi (7–8 September 2026), Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Transport Zhanibek Taizhanov reported that in the first eight months of 2026 TITR freight rose 22% and east–west transit 55% (Ministry of Transport; Azerbaijan Times, 9 Sep; Kazakhstan Today).
For OOG, corridor growth without matching Caspian ferry slots and multi-country permits means tighter timelines — track Ro-Ro availability and port–rail–road handoffs, not only the headline percentages.
