Joint enforcement raids on heavy and oversized road haulage are under way in North Kazakhstan region, MTRK reported on 10 October 2026. They are carried out by transport-control inspectors and KazAvtoZhol specialists, joined by colleagues from Akmola and Kostanay regions and by North Kazakhstan patrol police.

The checks focus on permissible weight and dimension limits, permit documents and compliance with haulage requirements. According to Nurfazyl Kenzhetayev, deputy head of the regional transport inspectorate, Kazakhstan currently operates three mobile transport-control posts. They are equipped with cameras and portable weighing equipment and work around the clock with live video recording.

The raids in North Kazakhstan will last about a week before the inspectors move to another region: on the Ministry of Transport's instruction, the monitoring will be carried out region by region across Kazakhstan. For oversized moves on lowbed trailers, this is a good moment to re-check the special permit, the approved route and the actual weight and dimensions of the loaded combination.
