Silleno: 12,000 t OOG Yersai→Atyrau — 878 km by specialized transport

KazMunayGas reported completion of the first oversized pyrolysis equipment batch for the Silleno polyethylene complex in Atyrau Region.

Nine units (reactors, separators, columns), about 12,000 tons total, arrived by sea at Yersai port (Mangystau), then moved 878 km by specialized road transport to the site in two stages (July and September 2026).

On-site preparations continue for installing a fractionation column (~101.8 m high, 7.5 m diameter, ~1,500 tons) with a 4,000-ton crawler crane assembled at the site. COD target 2029; capacity ~1.25 Mt/year.

For OOG practice this is classic project cargo: Caspian sea entry, long road leg, permits and route survey before the trailer moves.
