Sarens Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the Qazaq Green Association to support wind and solar projects across Kazakhstan, Breakbulk.news reported on 21 October 2026. The agreement brings together heavy transport, engineering and lifting expertise with renewable-energy industry coordination.

The focus is the logistical and technical requirements of developments: transporting oversized wind turbine components (blades, tower sections, nacelles), handling transformers and carrying out complex lifts at construction sites. Kazakhstan’s geography means sites may be far from industrial centres; such shipments need route surveys, specialised trailers and coordinated lifting.

The parties are Ainur Sospanova, Chairperson of the Board of Qazaq Green, and Mark Duncan, Executive Director of Sarens Kazakhstan. The memorandum establishes a cooperation framework; no financial value, project timetable or confirmed pipeline was disclosed. Multimodal logistics and greater participation by local contractors are also noted — without fixed procurement commitments.

For Gateway Logistics project and oversized cargo this is a close fit: the China — Kazakhstan — Caspian corridors, 45 t / 5-axle and 90 t / 10-axle lowbeds, route surveys for blades and transformers, and permit and route clearance to site.
