Sarens Kazakhstan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the renewable energy association Qazaq Green. The document is aimed at supporting wind and solar projects across Kazakhstan. Breakbulk.news reported this on 21 October 2026.
The agreement covers the logistics and technical requirements of renewable projects: transporting oversized wind turbine components, handling transformers and carrying out complex lifting operations at construction sites. Multimodal logistics and greater participation of Kazakhstani suppliers and contractors are also named. The partnership is meant to connect investors, developers, equipment manufacturers and EPC contractors at an early stage.
Ainur Sospanova, Chairperson of the Board of Qazaq Green, and Mark Duncan, Executive Director of Sarens Kazakhstan, commented on the agreement. The memorandum sets a framework for cooperation: the parties did not disclose financial terms, timelines or specific projects.
For Gateway Logistics this confirms that route engineering is built into renewable projects early: route surveys, permits, 45 t / 5-axle and 90 t / 10-axle lowbeds for transformers and equipment, and delivery from China via Khorgos across Kazakhstan.
