The Uzbek unit of GIANTI Logistics has reported the delivery of two 257-tonne power transformers from China to job sites in Azerbaijan. The company published the update on 19 October 2026.

According to GIANTI Logistics Uzbekistan, each of the two transformers travelled more than 4,000 km from China to its destination in Azerbaijan.

Transformers of this class are super-heavy indivisible loads: they need a route survey, axle-load calculations, special permits in every transit country and multi-axle equipment matched to the weight and dimensions of each unit.

For Gateway Logistics this is a reference point for power equipment on the China — Central Asia — Caspian — Azerbaijan direction: 45 t / 5-axle and 90 t / 10-axle lowbeds, route surveys and permits, and handoffs to the Caspian ferry leg.
