Per ADY, Baku International Sea Trade Port handled more than 5.5 Mt in Jan–Aug 2026 (~+3% YoY) and over 85,000 TEU (+22% from 69,855). August alone reached 12,900 TEU (+39% YoY).

Alongside expansion and dredging plans, this is operating throughput. For OOG, denser container flows on the western Caspian tighten ferry and berth slots.
