ADY and the Port of Hamburg: a protocol on Middle Corridor multimodality

An ADY delegation led by chairman Rovshan Rustamov met the management of the Port of Hamburg and Metrans in Germany. They signed a protocol on developing cooperation: exchange of experience, joint initiatives, logistics digitalisation, expansion of multimodal and container traffic, and closer rail–port coordination as Europe–Asia flows grow.
For Middle Corridor practice this is a western anchor after the Caspian and Georgia: container and breakbulk that reach Baku/Poti are increasingly planned through to northern European hubs without breaking the chain. For out-of-gauge and project cargo, Hamburg as a reference means tighter alignment of permits and schedules on the whole Caucasus–Black Sea–Europe leg, not only the Kazakh road section.
